Good news for the young trio
Barcelona youngsters Pedri and Ilaix Moriba and new signing Eric Garcia have all been nominated for the 2021 Golden Boy award.
The nominations were announced on Tuesday for the award which recognizes the best players under the age of 21.
There are plenty of La Liga players on the 100 strong list with Bryan Gil, Take Kubo, and Rodrygo Goes among the contenders.

Premier League stars such as Arsenal trio Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Gabriel Martinelli are also up for the award as well as Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood and Amad Diallo.

Barcelona’s Ansu Fati was the runner-up last year with Borussia Dortmund goal sensation Erling Haaland unsurprisingly scooping top prize.
Dortmund have four players nominated this time around with Jude Bellingham, Youssoufa Moukoko, Gio Reyna and Reinier Jesus all in contention.
Fati obviously hasn’t been included as he missed most of the season through injury but will hopefully be back in time for the new campaign.
