Join us for Day 10 of the European Championships!
Welcome to Day 10 of the European Championships! The final round of group stage matches begins today with the end of Group A, and although there are no Barcelona players in action this still promises to be exciting.
Both games kick off at the same time, and the situation is pretty straightforward: Italy and Wales play in Rome, and both need a draw to stay in their top two positions and guarantee qualification. So we all know how that might go... wink.
The real big game in the group takes place in Baku with Switzerland and Turkey battling to stay alive. Switzerland could theoretically finish in second place if Italy demolish Wales in the other game and they beat Turkey, but this is most likely a fight for third. Whoever wins it has a good chance to qualify as one of the four best third-placed nations, and this promises to be a hard-fought game between two good teams who have largely disappointed so far.
This will be fun, and you’re welcome to chat about it. Here we go!
