The Napoli forward would only come if forwards are sold first

Lorenzo Insigne’s name is being linked with a move to Catalonia once again. The Napoli forward has been in FC Barcelona’s sights in the past, and the latest rumor is that the Catalans are looking towards him to bolster the attack.

However, he would only come if Barcelona were able to sell some of their forwards first. With the arrivals of Memphis Depay and Sergio Agüero, plus Ansu Fati coming back from injury, Barcelona have too many players for the advanced positions.

Therefore, Insigne would only come if certain players leave.

The other forwards in the squad are Lionel Messi, Francisco Trincão, Martin Braithwaite, Ousmane Dembélé, and Antoine Griezmann.

Messi, of course, will not leave unless he chooses not to renew his contract.

Trincão and Braithwaite have been linked with a move away, but nothing is written in stone.

Dembélé might have left had he not been injured during his national team duty with France. Now, it’ll probably too difficult to sell a player with a long term injury.

Griezmann has also been rumored to be linked with a move away from Catalonia, but it would take a good offer to actually trigger such a situation.

Insigne has been playing with Italy and scored a goal in their match against Turkey. The 30 year old winger has played for Napoli since his academy days.
