There’s a lot going on at Camp Nou at the moment
After 79 days, and what has turned out to be a fairly traumatic summer for Barcelona, football finally returns to Camp Nou, with the Blaugrana set for a pivotal week.
First up, is the chance for supporters to see the team in action for the first time at Camp Nou as they take on Chapecoense in the Joan Gamper trophy.
It will be a poignant, emotional game on Monday night as the teams pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the tragic plane crash last November.

Barca should field a strong side with new signing Nelson Semedo expected to feature, and we may get a chance to see Gerard Deulofeu in action, as the club tune up their preparations before Sunday’s Supercopa de España against Real Madrid.
Barca to snap up Coutinho & Martinez?
Attentions will then return to the transfer market with recent reports claiming Barcelona could bring in Philippe Coutinho and Inigo Martinez as early as this week.
ESPN in Mexico say the Coutinho deal is just days away, with the Reds set to turn to Manuel Lanzini as his replacement.
Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo report today that Barca will step up their attempts to land the Brazilian and could include Andre Gomes as part of the deal.
Speculation also claims that Inigo Martinez is on the brink of a move to Camp Nou with the two clubs haggling over a fee.
Supercopa Clasico
All of which means Barca could have two new signings by the time they welcome Real Madrid to Camp Nou on Sunday night for the first leg of their Supercopa de España.
Still fresh in Barca minds, will be their victory over los Blancos in a thriller in Miami, where they prevailed 3-2, thanks to goals from Lionel Messi, Ivan Rakitic and Lionel Messi.
Another victory on Sunday, coupled with the potential arrival of new sigings, would give Barca a huge lift after a difficult few weeks, and have the team in good spirits ahead of the start of the new season.
