After 35 minutes of tame football, Barcelona have surged into a 2-0 lead against Real Betis to kick off the La Liga season. Gerard Deulofeu played a hand in both goals as his flank play and centering passes caused an own goal to make it 1-0 and set up Sergi Roberto to double the lead.

Betis’ Tosca was credited with the own goal on the first play, but there would be no doubt who would get credit for the second as Sergi Roberto wandered forward to slam in another great play by Deulofeu.
