The Barca Blaugranes team have spoken!
The new La Liga season is almost upon us and so we decided to have a little think and consider how Barcelona will fare in the new campaign.
Below our team of writers have given their predictions for the new campaign so let us know what you think, and feel free to give us your predictions in the comments below!

Where will Barca finish in La Liga?
Second place. This is a squad that is weaker than last season regardless of whom we bring in to replace Neymar.
How far will Barca go in Champs League?
Final. There are few teams as competitive as Barcelona in world football and regardless of the circumstances in La Liga, Barcelona has the quality to reach the final.
And in the Copa del Rey?
Winners. Barcelona will win the Copa del Rey. This trophy is not going to get the same attention but is arguably the easiest one to win
Who will be Barca's top scorer?
Luis Suarez. With Neymar gone and a deeper role for Messi, the Argentine is going to turn provider for El Pistolero. Messi and Suarez have a point to prove to Neymar and will be in exceptional form all season.
Who will be Barca's player of the year?
Two words. Lionel Messi.
Who will be Barca's best signing?
Nelson Semedo. Even if Semedo performs at half his quality, he will be an easy upgrade over both Sergi Roberto and Aleix Vidal. Culés have gotten so used to a vacant right flank that Semedo is going to appear impressive even if he has a down season.
Which youngster will impress the most?
Gerard Deulofeu. As silly as it sounds if Deulofeu can consistently put out performances like his appearance in the Joan Gamper game against Chapecoense, he is going to change a lot of opinions.

Barcelona will finish second.

Where will Barca finish in La Liga?
At this moment in time, I’d have to go for 2nd. Madrid finished the season superbly and have strengthened in the summer without losing key plays. Zidane is also settled while Barça have the uncertainty of Valverde’s first season.
How far will Barca go in Champs League?
For this question, you have to think how many teams in Europe are currently better than Barcelona? Maybe two or three so dependent on when Barcelona meet the bigger teams. I think they should be aiming for the semi-finals at least.
And in the Copa del Rey?
Winners.
Who will be Barca's top scorer?
Luis Suárez. I except Messi to move back to his midfield role and subsequently let Suárez be the focal point of the attack.
Who will be Barca's player of the year?
Lionel Messi. No real debate about it, playing in the middle everything will go through him.
Who will be Barca's best signing?
Nélson Semedo. Being a recognised right back will help in getting the fans on his side.
Which youngster will impress the most?
Is Deulofeu still a youngster? I’m expecting a big season from him after Neymar’s departure. In terms of La Masia, surely it’s time for Samper.

Second. Sorry, I'm just not optimistic.
How far will Barça go in Champs League?
We've gone out in the quarter-finals in three of the last four seasons, so unless the draw is nice to us, I think the trend will continue.
And in the Copa del Rey?
We always win it these days, so we'll do it again.
Who will be Barca's top scorer?
Messi, because of course.
Who will be Barca's player of the year?
Messi, because OBVIOUSLY.
Who will be Barca's best signing?
Semedo. I love him.
Which youngster will impress the most?
The one who actually gets to play, maybe?

Where will Barca finish in La Liga?
A very distant second, unfortunately Madrid are ridiculously good at the moment. Having said that, if Barca buy Ousmane Dembele (please Barca buy Dembele) then maybe, we can make a fight of it.
How far will Barça go in Champs League?
Quarter-finals at best. As much as I’d love to see us competing for the trophy again, the squad lacks strength in depth.
And in the Copa del Rey?
Runners-up to Madrid.

Messi by a mile.

Messi
Who will be Barca's best signing?
Hopefully Ousmane Dembele but if not Semedo.
Which youngster will impress the most?
Hopefully Ousmane Dembele (did I mention I liked him?). But I’d also love to see Carles Alena given a first-team chance - not too optimistic that will happen though.
