The defender admits Barca have room for improvement
Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué has admitted there is room for improvement in the squad, and, rather surprisingly, that he feels “inferior” to Real Madrid for the first time in nine years.
"This a long process and there is room for improvement, but in the nine years that I have been here, it is the first time that I feel inferior to Madrid.
"We are not in the best moment, either as a team or as a club. We must stay as close as possible and keep moving forwards."

Piqué’s admission gives a stark view into the Barcelona mindset after a second loss to Real Madrid inside a week.
The two performances against Real in the Super Cup were a clear picture of where the two clubs are at heading into the start of La Liga competition over the weekend - and it’s not looking good for Barca.
Ernesto Valverde’s side were dominated over the two legs, losing 5-1 on aggregate.
Piqué himself also had a less than impressive time, scoring an own goal in the first leg before coming off due to injury in the second leg Wednesday night.
