Barcelona make improved offer to Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho - Report

According to Catalan radio, Barça have offered even more money to land Neymar’s replacement

According to Catalunya Ràdio, three Barcelona board members (Robert Fernández, Raül Sanllehí, Albert Soler) have made a trip to England to meet with Liverpool directors and presented an improved offer for Reds midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Barça have already had two bids rejected by Liverpool. The Blaugrana started off with an offer of €70 million + €10 million in performance bonuses, then increased their bid to €100 million. Given they improved the first offer by 20 million euros, we can SPECULATE that the third offer is around €120 million. Again, this is speculation, because there are no reports about the exact figure.

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has said that Coutinho is not for sale, which doesn’t exactly mean he can’t be sold. When a really crazy offer comes around, Klopp will have no choice, especially because Coutinho has agreed personal terms with Barça. It seems like €120 million isn’t exactly crazy, but once the Neymar money comes, we could see the end of this saga.
