Cules are not usually known for their optimism
One of the world’s best players is leaving Barcelona. The sky is falling, right? Well, no, not according to Barça fans. They are actually fairly optimistic about life after Neymar completes his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Why? Well Barcelona are getting a huge amount of money coming the other way, enough to target at least a couple of world-class players. Whether that is Kylian Mbappe, Philippe Coutinho, Paulo Dybala, Ousmane Dembele, or someone else... Barcelona fans are looking forward to new arrivals.
Neymar’s attitude had also been called into question, not to mention the gigantic payments made to his father/agent.
Polls conducted online had consistently found Barcelona fans (75% or more of them, anyway) wanted Neymar out.
Barça fans aren’t known for their optimism but on this front, they’re mainly optimistic. Selling Neymar is a risky prospect for the team, but one that could have a silver lining.
