Xavi Hernández has called up 20 players for Sunday’s clash
The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana play a monster La Liga game at home against Girona, and Xavi Hernández has called up the following 20 players for Sunday’s clash:
Goalkeepers: 13. Iñaki Peña, 26. Ander Astralaga, 31. Diego Kochen
Defenders: 2. João Cancelo, 3. Alejandro Balde, 4. Ronald Araujo, 15. Andreas Christensen, 23. Jules Kounde, 33. Pau Cubarsí
Midfielders: 8. Pedri, 18. Oriol Romeu, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Frenkie de Jong, 22. Ilkay Gündogan, 32. Fermín López
Forwards: 7. Ferran Torres, 9. Robert Lewandowski, 11. Raphinha, 14. João Félix, 27. Lamine Yamal
Barça continue to be bit by the injury bug time and time again, and the Blaugrana will be without four players for this one as Iñigo Martínez (hamstring), Marcos Alonso (back), Marc-André ter Stegen (back) and Gavi (knee) all miss out due to injury. 16-year-old Barça Atlètic center-back Pau Cubarsí gets the call-up to provide depth at the back, and Diego Kochen is set to be the third goalkeeper for a while with Ter Stegen sidelined for an indefinite period following back surgery.
