Bayern will not give up easily
Bayern Munich are strongly interested in FC Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo. However, according to reports, the Uruguayan will reject their advances, at least for the time being.
Bayern are looking for a new defender in the winter transfer market and Araujo is their ideal signing. It’s understood they have all but given up on the idea, not because they don’t have the money, but because the defender does not want to leave Catalonia.
However, the Bavarians are ready to keep insisting on his signing in the coming transfer windows. They think Barcelona lack money and will ultimately be temped if a big enough offer comes. And they think Araujo may one day change his mind and leave.
For the moment, however, Bayern are likely to look elsewhere to patch up their defense.
