FC Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for midfielder Ivan Rakitić, although as of this moment, there are no bids for him yet, according to Cadena COPE.
Because of his age and experience, the club thinks they can get a good return for him, the report says. Manager Ernesto Valverde reportedly stopped the Croatian’s exit to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, but it is rumored that this summer he is willing to let him go, in part because of the arrival of Frenkie de Jong.
One rumored destination is PSG once again, but this time, the Parisians have cooled their interest. Rakitić’s name has been linked with a potential swap deal for Neymar, but at this point, PSG do not seem interested in the proposal - at least according to L’Equipe.
The 31-year-old midfielder scored Barcelona’s only goal in a 2-1 friendly loss to Chelsea in Japan.
