Arsenal is not in a good position to advance to the Champions League quarterfinals.
The Gunners travel to Camp Nou on Wednesday night looking to pull off a near miracle by overcoming a two-goal deficit against Barcelona, and after being dominated at home by the Blaugranes, the London giants need to have a similar performance if they are to complete their near impossible task.
The team needs two goals and a night for the ages, both on offense and defense. Manager Arsene Wenger is aware of that necessity, and he has a clear strategy: going all out up front, trying to survive on the back.
The key for us will be a solid defensive performance. We have to attack and that suits us. We will do that knowing that the magicians of Barcelona will demand a good defensive performance from ourselves. Koscielny is important for us because he has lots of pace and Barcelona are good on the counterattack.
Beating Barça at Camp Nou is something Wenger's Arsenal has never achieved, but losing again at the Catalan capital is not an option for the Gunners on Wednesday.
We have won almost everywhere in Europe, but still not here and we need to do that now. Barcelona are in a good position, but we have a chance. Our approach wasn't too bad [in the first leg]. We just lost our shape a bit after half-time and got caught on the counterattack.

The recent form suggests Arsenal does not have a real chance. Their only win in the last six matches came against a lower league opponent, and they have been underwhelming in the big games. According to Wenger, the team needs to respond in the biggest of games, even if that doesn't mean qualifying to the quarterfinals.
We want to come here and give a positive performance. We will play with passion and commitment and show our talent.
If that is enough to beat the best team in the world, we don't really know. But maybe we already do.
