Barça play the second game of the league season this evening at 7.00 PM CET away to Villarreal at El Madrigal. They made the journey by train, and left Sants Station this morning at 9.00 AM. On arrival in Villarreal, they went immediately to a hotel, where they will relax for a few hours. Luis Enrique has named 18 players in his squad, including Neymar, who was declared fit this week, but not Andrés Iniesta, who is having trouble with his left knee.

FC Barcelona and West Ham United have reached an agreement for the loan of Alex Song to Premiership club for the 2014-15 season. The Cameroon international midfielder joined Barça from Arsenal in the summer of 2012. Since then he has made 65 official appearances in the Barça colours, scoring one goal.

Sales of Champions League group stage tickets will open next Tuesday 10 September from 10.00 AM CET. The three visitors to the Camp Nou will be APOEL Nicosia, Ajax Amsterdam and Paris Saint Germain. On the first day, only non-season ticket holding FC Barcelona members will be able to purchase these tickets, and get a special 20% discount on the cost. They day after, September 3, and also at 10.00 AM CET, sales will be open to the general public.
