Pedro in doubt for league opener against Elche | FC Barcelona

Striker Pedro Rodríguez has been suffering from gastroenteritis this week and is now on antibiotics, with his presence in the 2014/15 league season on Sunday evening in doubt. Barça start their campaign against Elche at the Camp Nou (9.00 PM CET). The rest of the first team continued getting ready for the big day with a training session this morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.


Report: Barca sign Douglas | Football Espana

Barcelona have agreed to sign Sao Paulo right-back Douglas for €6m, reports in Brazil and Spain claim. Sport cite reports from Brazil that quote the Sao Paulo President as saying the deal has been done and Douglas will be loaned back to the club until the summer of 2015.


Back to training with 24 players | FC Barcelona

After a day off following the Gamper match, Luis Enrique Martínez and his team were back at the Ciutat Esportiva Sant Joan Despí this morning to continue preparations for the Liga opener on Sunday (9.00 PM CET) at the Camp Nou against Elche. The session involved 24 players and four from Barça B (Munir, Samper, Sandro and Grimaldo). There will be no evening session today.
