The left-back is expected to leave this summer
West Ham and Junior Firpo may be a match made in heaven. The Premier League side was very interested in Firpo earlier this year, but a deal didn’t take place and he remained at Barcelona.
That desire has continued into the summer transfer window and they’re now reportedly looking into a deal. The advantage lies with West Ham given the interesting financial situation Barca are in this summer.
Barca want at least €16m for him and there are likely teams that would approach that figure. All that remains is Firpo giving his approval for the deal. The discussions between West Ham and Barca will heat up in the coming days, if indeed there’s a deal to be had, it’ll come through quickly.
