A great win for García Pimienta’s side
Barcelona B enjoyed a great win in the derby over Espanyol B on Sunday thanks to a single goal from Peque.
The visitors were the better side in the first half and had chances to break the deadlock with Gustavo Maia, Konrad de la Fuente, Alex Collado and Peque all going close.
Barca B eventually opened the scoring 10 minutes into the second half. Captain Collado did brilliantly to send the ball in after a pass from Gavi for Peque to apply the finish.

Indeed it was a great debut for Gavi who has come into the side while Ilaix Moriba continues with the first team. The 16-year-old seemed completely at home and looks to be yet another brilliant midfield talent to come out of La Masia.
You can check out some of his highlights below.

The first start for Barça B and a great match. He also participated in the winning goal. Jugadorazo! pic.twitter.com/TQvYZSSdQv
Barca B did have chances to extend their lead but couldn’t come up with another goal as they made it four wins a in a row.
The three points means Garcia Pimienta’s side are second in the table and now level on points with leaders Nastic with two rounds left to play.
