Paris Saint-Germain’s biggest stars are part of a campaign to bring Lionel Messi to Ligue 1.
It’s no surprise that his former FC Barcelona teammate, Neymar, is said to be sending WhatsApp messages all the time to try to get the Argentine to join PSG.
But according to a new report, Kylian Mbappé is also doing his part to try to convince Messi.
The World Cup winner published a picture of himself on Twitter in which he is looking at Messi during a quiet moment of the UEFA Champions League meeting between Barcelona and PSG. Mbappé accompanied the image with two emojis which showed his admiration for Messi. In addition, he published the same photo on Instagram with the following caption: “Thanks football to give me this opportunity to live this dream every day.”

Of course, it’s not unusual that the young Frenchman was showing his admiration to the best ever. But according to the report, “it is evident that the French leader of the PSG dressing room is rending a tribute to Messi, and that is a clear sign of a welcome.”
In addition, PSG has other “secret weapons” to try to convince Messi.
One is the renewal of Ángel Di María. A compatriot of Messi’s, Di María has previously spoken candidly about a sincere desire to join forces with his national team partner.
Finally, there is Mauricio Pochettino. While he is more than qualified to manage PSG, the report says that the fact that he is a fellow Argentine who has helped introduce a “Latino” culture to the team could help convince Messi to leave the Camp Nou.
