The trio all found the back of the net on Thursday

Barcelona trio Sergino Dest, Martin Braithwaite and Miralem Pjanic were all on target for their national teams on Thursday night.

Dest, who scored twice at the weekend against Real Sociedad, netted his first USA goal in some style with a brilliant goal in a friendly against Jamaica.

The youngster actually started the game at left-back, rather than his usual slot on the opposite flank, on what was just his sixth international appearance.

The USMNT ran out 4-1 winners in Austria with Brenden Aaronson also on target, while Sebastian Lletget bagged a brace.

Braithwaite and Denmark were in World Cup qualifying action against Israel in Tel Aviv with the Barcelona striker breaking the deadlock after just 13 minutes.

Denmark’s second goal came after the break from Copenhagen’s Jonas Wind and ensured the visitors took home all three points.

And it was also a good night for Pjanic who has largely been forgotten about at Barcelona after struggling to impress Ronald Koeman and slipping down the pecking order.

The 30-year-old struck in a 2-2 draw for Bosnia and Herzegovina against Finland. Pjanic actually missed from the penalty post but managed to net the rebound.

The midfielder went on to play the whole match which is just the second time since December that he’s played all 90 minutes.
