A look at the latest gossip
Wijnaldum agrees pre-contract
Today’s rumors start with news that Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is leaving Anfield on a free at the end of the season and will join Barcelona.
The Sunday Times report the Dutch midfielder “has agreed a pre-contract deal” and will become the club’s first signing under new president Joan Laporta.
The report reckons Ronald Koeman made Wijnaldum a “priority target” since taking over and the midfielder’s arrival will be a “vote of confidence” for the boss.
It’s difficult to know what to make of this one. After all, last week the rumor was that the emergence of Ilaix Moriba meant Barca had cooled their interest in Wijnaldum.
Barcelona make Haaland contact
Meanwhile, the Erling Haaland rumors keep on flowing with a report that Barcelona have made contact with agent Mino Raiola regarding a move for the Borussia Dortmund striker.
Laporta has asked Raiola about the forward’s situation and has made it clear the Catalan giants are keen on the prolific Norwegian, according to Sport.
Barca won’t be the only club interested and the price may also be a problem, while the report suggests Haaland hasn’t ruled out staying at Dortmund for another season.
Barca keen on Uruguayan wonderkid
Another name on Barca’s wishlist is 16-year-old Uruguayan sensation Nicolas Siri who has captured the club’s attention after starring for Danubio.
Siri has four goals in two games for his club side, including a perfect hat-trick, against Boston River.

Mundo Deportivo report Barca are keeping a close eye on Siri and already have good contacts in Uruguayan football after bringing young stars Santi Bueno and Ronald Araujo to the club.
Barca trying to find Coutinho exit
One player who has almost been forgotten about at Barcelona is poor old Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian has been out since January with a knee injury and the club are working hard on finding him a new club.
The Catalan giants are looking for either a loan or a permanent sale and are aware if he plays 10 more games for the club they’ll have to hand out another €20m to Liverpool, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Coutinho also seems to have no place in the starting XI following the emergence of Pedri and the return to fitness of Ousmane Dembele this season.
PSG keen on Depay?
And finally we end with news that Paris Saint-Germain are pretty keen on Memphis Depay who continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona.
L’Equipe report sporting director Leonardo is keeping tabs on the Dutchman who is not a priority but is still a pretty attractive target given he’ll be a free agent.
Barca came close to signing Depay last year and there’s been speculation that Koeman thinks the Lyon star will be a better fit than Sergio Aguero.
