The Barca goalkeeper has had a successful summer
Marc-Andre ter Stegen is celebrating tonight after helping Germany win the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia.
Joachim Low’s side won the final 1-0 thanks to single first-half goal from Lars Stindl, as they saw off a spirited Chile side.
Chile dominated large parts of the game but could not find a way past Ter Stegen, who picked up a clean sheet and made some crucial saves.

Arturo Vidal went close for Chile in the first half before being denied by the Barcelona goalkeeper, while Eduardo Vargas had a great chance to equalise with 15 minutes to go but could not beat the German.
As Chile pressed for an equaliser, Ter Stegen again denied Vidal from close range before pulling off a smart stop from an Alexis Sanchez free kick with just minutes remaining, as Germany held out for the win.
Congratulations to Germany and Marc-Andre ter Stegen!
