That’s the question right now as Barcelona are reported to be “optimistic” about signing Paulinho from Guangzhou Evergrande and Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool, or so says GLOBO.
The club's Brazilian representative, Andre Cury was in London to meet Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci. The discussions are understood to be about Coutinho and Paulinho. The pair are thought to be all in for joining Barça. Agreeing personal terms is "no problem," they say, but what won't be so easy is convincing their clubs.
For Paulinho, who could join in midseason, Barcelona offer 20 million euro plus an additional 5 million in bonuses. The Chinese club rejected this, but Barça will be making a new offer. Meanwhile, Barcelona offered Liverpool a first proposal of 80 million, with 70 fixed and 10 as a bonus. However, the English club want 100 million.
