The goalkeeper didn’t play much at the Camp Nou
Barcelona’s third goalkeeper last season is moving on. Real Valladolid have announced the signing of Jordi Masip on a free transfer. Valladolid play in the Spanish second division.
It’s understood Masip had offers from teams in the first division but, after playing only four games in the past three years, he was eager to play for a team that would give him minutes.
Barcelona have recalled Adrian Ortola from a loan spell at Deportivo Alaves, to serve as Ernesto Valverde’s third keeper. Ortola served as the primary backup to Fernando Pacheco at Alaves, making two appearances in the league and four in the Copa del Rey.
