Bring on the kids!
The last two decades have shown that Barcelona believes in that motto. The spectacular players La Masia has created over the past several years made the Barça youth system a model of consistency, hard work and talent growth. The best players in club history have all come from the youth ranks, honing their craft, learning the Barça way of playing, and confidently taking all first team opportunities they get.
While the talent pool hasn't been as special in recent times, the Blaugrana are still great at developing young players who could become stars one day, and this Wednesday's Copa del Rey match against Valencia is a good chance to watch some of those kids starting to show their potential. Sergi Samper, Munir El-Haddadi and Sandro Ramírez are certain to play and deserve good attention, and they seem to have the brightest future.
After winning 7-0 last week, this match doesn't matter in competitive terms. But for kids who want to continue the rich history of La Masia, this match matters more than any other. If you like to see young players start their journey to stardom, this is the game for you. Don't miss it.
