Athletic Bilbao are mourning the passing of one of the club’s legends, Rafael Iriondo, who has passed away aged 97. Iriondo was the last surviving member of the Athletic front line of the 1940s and 1950s, AS reports, which including Telmo Zarra, until recently the League’s record goal scorer before his tally was bettered by Lionel Messi.
