Playing Las Palmas is a nightmare for Barcelona fans. Last September, the Camp Nou opened its doors to welcome the Yellows for a nice La Liga game. The Blaugrana seemed to be hitting their stride after a few bad losses, and the 'MSN' trio was rounding into shape and starting to score again. The opponent was not the toughest, and the afternoon looked set to be a great one.
And then, just three minutes into the action, Lionel Messi tried to win the ball in a simple challenge, injured his knee and missed two months of football. That forced Neymar Jr. and Luis Suárez into playing at an absurd level just to cope with Messi's absence and keep the Catalans at their best. It was a difficult period, but that nightmare ultimately turned into a 31-game unbeaten streak that lives to this day, and the Blaugranes are in unbelievable form.
Now, we see Las Palmas again, this time on the road, with a huge Champions League game against Arsenal just around the corner. Hopefully no injuries will happen again, but who knows if the Yellows could once again be a nightmare if they're able to stop the unstoppable.
