The Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmpiooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnsssssss....
The best club football competition on the planet is back this week. After two grueling months of waiting, the 16 best teams in Europe will enter the pitch over the next month to decide who is going to play in the quarter-finals.
Barcelona don't get to play until next Wednesday against Arsenal, so we have no reason to be nervous. We can take the time to enjoy this week's matches. And Tuesday starts well: Benfica and Zenit, one of the most intriguing and balanced matchups of the knockout stage, play in Portugal.
But the big one is in Paris: the French capital is home to Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea. Two of the richest teams on the planet try to make an impact in Europe for different reasons: PSG dominates in domestic competition, but fail to translate that dominance against the best teams in the world. Chelsea, in the other had, seem to have lost their season due to their awful Premier League record, but hold on to hope that the Champions League can bring them some success.
Should be a great European night of football. Join us and comment all the action!
