The club have spoken to the striker’s dad
Move over Lautaro Martinez and Neymar because there’s a new face on the front page of Mundo Deportivo on Friday and it’s none other than Timo Werner.
The news is that Eric Abidal and Ramón Planes have been in touch with Werner’s father and met him in Germany to talk about his son’s future.

The report goes on to say that Lautaro Martinez remains their top target, but Barcelona are aware it will be a difficult deal to pull off and so have Werner lined up as a Plan B.
Abidal and Planes travelled to Germany in March to talk to Gunther Werner and see if his son was interested in playing for Barcelona.
MD finish off by saying that Barca left with a good feeling, although the striker does have other offers he’s thinking about.
