Valverde accepts Barcelona will miss Messi | FourFourTwo

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde admitted his team will miss the injured Lionel Messi over the next few weeks. Speaking after the win over Sevilla he said: “We will prepare for it but of course we are going to notice the loss of Messi.He is fundamental and he marks a lot of the team’s game, but we will try to keep our idea and take a step forward. We will miss him, win or lose, but we want to miss him winning.”

Paco Alcacer was on target yet again for Borussia Dortmund in their 4-0 win over Stuttgart on Saturday. The Bundesliga club have already told Barcelona they want to make his move permanent.
