FC Barcelona midfielder Arthur is expected to be fit to play against Real Madrid this weekend, after he was substituted off against Inter Milan with a muscle overburdening.
Arthur received plenty of plaudits for his performance against Inter, although he was substituted off for Arturo Vidal in the 77th minute, with the score still 1-0. The fans were unaware of the situation, and voiced their displeasure as one of their best performers was subbed off.
“Arthur was suffering from a small overburdening and we did not need to risk it, since we were ahead,” Valverde said in the post-match press conference.
