Claudio Bravo close to breaking his own clean sheet record

Claudio Bravo may break his clean sheet record during Barcelona's match against Atletico de Madrid.

Barcelona's star goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, has turned into a big name in the world of football. After an inspiring performance during the 2014 World Cup and an equally impressive first campaign with the blaugrana, the Chilean is now on the verge of breaking his own record of 754 straight minutes without conceding a goal in La Liga.

Along with the aforementioned record, Barcelona's shot stopper only allowed 19 goals and kept 23 clean sheets during the course of the 2014/15 season, thus earning him the coveted Zamora trophy.

Luckily for the club, Bravo isn't content with just one exceptional season; the keeper is keen on continuing his success in the Iberian Peninsula.

In Barcelona's first two league matches of the current season, the Chile international has held his opponents at zero. In fact, the last time Bravo allowed a goal was on April 11th against Sevilla. Since then, Barça's lucky number 13 has yet to see a single ball hit the back of his net.

With such incredible heroics, it is literally a matter of time before the goalie cracks open his own record and the history books, that is, unless Atletico de Madrid has anything to say about it. According to Barcelona's official website, Bravo must keep Koke, Griezmann, and any other daring colchonero from scoring within the first 35 minutes. Otherwise, the keeper may find the fruits of his labor spoiled before they're ready to be picked.
