Barcelona had reportedly targeted three potential replacements for Pedro after the winger moved to Chelsea, and the Blaugrana are missing out on all three.
After failing to sign Nolito and Yarmolenko over the last few weeks, the Catalan giants will lose 19-year-old striker Anthony Martial, who is set to sign with Manchester United, according to widespread reports from England. The French international and AS Monaco star has reportedly left the national team camp to fly to the UK and complete the deal.
According to the reports, Man Utd will pay a €50 million fee, which is honestly crazy since this is a kid with 15 goals scored in his career. He clearly has potential, but has done nothing worthy of that much money, which is probably good news for Barcelona, who would have to also bid that much to get a backup for the 'MSN' trio.
While the possibility of signing a striker in January isn't discarded yet, there are indications from the coaching staff that they are fully interested in developing Sandro Ramírez and Munir El-Haddadi, the young attackers who are currently in the first team and haven't gotten too many minutes so far.
