Barcelona will try to win a war today
Barcelona will look to extend their season-best winning streak to nine games as they travel to the Basque Country to face a super tough environment of the New San Mamés, looking to win a war against Athletic Bilbao.
Since losing to Real Sociedad in early January, the Blaugrana haven't lost nor drawn, scoring a whopping 29 goals and beating Atlético Madrid three times in two weeks, proving that their great form is not a fluke and they haven't just beaten poor, weak teams.
Tonight, though, it's possibly the toughest test so far in this streak for Luis Enrique and his band. Despite Bilbao's bad form lately, in which they've lost five of their last eight La Liga matches, they take these games against Barça seriously, and every clash with the Catalans at San Mamés is always interesting, hard-fought and full of emotions. And this Sunday shouldn't be any different.
