The Catalans return to La Liga action
Barcelona are back in action for the first time since going out of the Champions League in midweek when they take on Huesca in La Liga at the Camp Nou.
It’s a rare Monday night outing for the Catalan giants who will be huge favorites to take all three points against La Liga’s basement side.
Let’s look at who might feature.
Defense

Ronald Koeman is expected to have Ronald Araujo back fit for this one which will be a boost for the hosts. The Barca boss has played three central defenders in recent games and could continue with the same formation again on Monday.
Oscar Mingueza, Clement Lenglet, and Samuel Umtiti are also fit and in contention, but the game comes too soon for Gerard Pique who may be back in time to face Real Sociedad next time out.
Junior Firpo may also be an option for Koeman after an impressive showing off the bench against Kylian Mbappe in the 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain
Midfield

Barca had a few days rest before this match and don’t play again until Sunday which means Koeman is likely to go with his strongest XI against Huesca.
Sergio Busquets, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong therefore look set to start in midfield again with Jordi Alba and Sergino Dest providing the width as wing-backs.
Youngster Ilaix Moriba could get more minutes off the bench, while Miralem Pjanic and Riqui Puig are also options in midfield.
Attack

Koeman has decisions to make in attack regarding who features alongside captain Lionel Messi. The captain is set to make 767th appearance for Barca which will see him match Xavi as the player with the most ever appearances for the club.
Antoine Griezmann started against PSG but saw his goal drought continue. The Frenchman has now gone nine games without finding the back of the net. Ousmane Dembele also started against PSG and looks likely to feature again.
Francisco Trincao and Martin Braithwaite are also fit and available but will probably have to make do with a place on the bench.
Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Mingueza, Araujo, Lenglet; Dest, De Jong, Busquets, Pedri, Alba; Dembele, Messi.
