The Barcelona star hit a hat-trick in a 4-2 win
Lionel Messi was in stunning form on this day back in 2010, netting a hat-trick in a 4-2 win at Real Zaragoza in La Liga.
The Argentinian came into the match after bagging a hat-trick in his last La Liga outing against Valencia and hit another three goals to take all three points
It was an important victory for Barcelona too, moving them level on points at the top of the table with Real Madrid with 11 games left to play.
Messi headed Barcelona in front after five minutes from Pedro’s cross from the left and then took the breath away with a sensational second.

The GOAT won possession just inside the Zaragoza half, turned a couple of players inside out and then rifled a low shot past goalkeeper Jiménez Gago Roberto.
Messi completed his hat-trick late in the game, curling home from the edge of the area for his 34th goal of the season.
Two late goals from Adrian Colunga then gave Zaragoza hope of pulling off an upset, before Messi won a penalty after another mazy run which was converted by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
