Barcelona’s Hospital CLÍNIC has publicly thanked the Barcelona star
Lionel Messi has been thanked by Barcelona’s Hospital Clínic for a donation reportedly worth €1 million in the fight against coronavirus. The money will go towards efforts in Barcelona and his home country, Argentina, to supply hospitals with life-saving equipment.

Messi previously had a hand in the opening of the Pediatric Center in Barcelona’s Sant Joan de Déu hospital. He also previously had participated in a campaign to urge people to stay home to avoid contracting and spreading the coronavirus.
In addition, former Barcelona and current Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has also reportedly donated €1 million to the Àngel Soler Daniel Foundation and Medical College of Barcelona. The money will go towards buying important medical equipment for doctors to use in attempts to heal patients sick from the virus.
