Quique Setién has called up 18 players for Saturday’s big game
The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana are back in action with a tough La Liga game against Real Sociedad at Camp Nou, and Quique Setién has called up the following 18 players to be in uniform on Saturday:
Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Neto
Defenders: 2. Nélson Semedo, 3. Gerard Piqué, 15. Clément Lenglet, 18. Jordi Alba, 23. Samuel Umtiti, 24. Junior Firpo
Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 5. Sergio Busquets, 21. Frenkie De Jong, 22. Arturo Vidal, 28. Riqui Puig, 30. Álex Collado
Forwards: 10. Lionel Messi, 17. Antoine Griezmann, 19. Martin Braithwaite, 31. Ansu Fati
There’s some bad news ahead of this one: midfielder Arthur Melo is missing through an ankle injury, although it doesn’t sound like the Brazilian will be out for long. In the Brazilian’s place comes Riqui Puig, which is cool. Also out of this one because of injury are Luis Suárez (knee), Ousmane Dembélé (hamstring) and Sergi Roberto (thigh).
