A look at the latest gossip...

Barcelona turned down €100m Ansu Fati bid

Today’s rumors start with news that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu reportedly turned down a whopping €100m bid for Ansu Fati on Thursday.

According to Sport, a “major club” was willing to splash out heavily on the teenager, but Bartomeu wasn’t having any of it.

The president wasn’t even willing to give the bid a moment’s consideration. Instead he simply told a meeting: “Ansu Fati is not for sale. We don’t talk of that anymore.”

Dembele up for sale

Sticking with Sport who also bring news that Barcelona will put Ousmane Dembele up for sale in the summer transfer window.

Dembele is said to be keen to stay at Barca, despite reported interest from Liverpool and Juve, but the club will tell him they want to move him on and bring in some cash.

That’s probably going to be easier said than done though. Dembele has hardly played this season and clubs will be wary of his injury record.

Neymar to Barcelona back on again

Over in Brazil there is optimism that Barcelona will try to open talks with Neymar again, despite the fact they probably can’t afford to sign him anymore.

UOL Esporte reckon the Brazilian remains a “priority” and will continue to use Andre Cury in negotiations even though he’s on his way out of the Camp Nou.

Cury has a good relationship with Neymar’s dad and is likely to play a key role in the deal apparently.

Arthur to change his mind on Juve

And finally today we end with Tuttosport who continue to be obsessed with Arthur and Juventus and reckon the Brazilian could still change his mind about a move.

They report a swap deal with Miralem Pjanic was all agreed, and also that Mattia De Sciglio could go too, until Arthur decided to dig his heels in.

Yet Tuttosport reckon that although Arthur is “proving to be a tough nut to crack” there is confidence he can be “convinced” to leave for Italy. Good luck with that.
