There have been some big changes over the weekend
Could Jérémy Mathieu finally be heading away from Barcelona? He just might, after the club announced he will join Sporting on a trial basis.
The defender will train with the Portuguese side for the next couple of weeks, after which both clubs will come to a decision on his future.
It's kind of an unusual move and certainly leaves open the possibility that Mathieu could be back at Camp Nou, if he fails to impress.
Elsewhere, there have also been huge changes within the Barcelona B side, fresh from their promotion to the Segunda Division.
The club have confirmed that Gerard Lopez will remain as coach while Gabri García and Quique Álvarez will also remain in charge of the U19A and B teams.
However, five players have now left the club after their contracts expired: goalkeeper José Aurelio Suárez, midfielders Josep Miquel Fernández, Gerard Gumbau and Xemi and also forward Alberto Perea.
Barcelona have also confirmed that defender Borja Lopez has also left the club, after terminating his contract.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Adrià Ortolà will return after a loan spell with Alaves, last season.
The departures will undoubtedly see more questions asked of the club and their policy regarding young players.
Although Carles Alena has, thankfully, signed a new deal, Jordi Mboula has already left for Monaco, Eric Garcia is being heavily tipped to join Manchester City and Lee Seung-woo has admitted he could move on.
