HELP WANTED! HELP WANTED! HELP WANTED!
As you may have noticed, there have been a few changes around the place recently and we are currently looking to expand our team in a bid to make Barca Blaugranes even better.
What are we looking for? Glad you asked actually. We’re ideally looking for a new writer to help out with news, opinion articles, rumours, match coverage and basically anything else Barca-based.
This is a paid role, but be warned, we don’t have a huge budget, although we certainly don’t expect people to work for free (unless you really want to of course!)
Who should apply?
If you love Barcelona, have experience of writing about football and can provide samples of your work then well done, you are the perfect candidate. However, applications are also welcome from aspiring writers/journalists who are enthusiastic, committed and able to contribute consistently.
What might working for Barca Blaugranes involve?
- News. Simply put, Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs on the planet and there is always something going on. From injuries to contracts to interviews to social media nonsense it’s pretty non-stop to be fair and we want to be on top of the very best of it.
- Match coverage. This is the really fun bit, getting paid to watch football. From previews, match reports, ratings, highlights, post-match features and reaction we hope to provide as much thorough coverage as possible next season.
- Transfer rumors. Why? Well, love ‘em or hate ‘em they play a huge part, and are also one of the most read articles on the site.
- Opinion articles. One of the best things about football is how we can all have different opinions. You’ll be asked for yours and to share it with the rest of the community.
- Tactical analysis.
- Essentially, anything and everything.
Basically, the aim is to get BB to grow, improve and be an interesting and fun place to be. To do this we need another writer so we can provide more content to discuss and share. If you would like to be part of it fill in the application below and we will be in touch!
