Barcelona will continue to track him
FC Barcelona still want to bring Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich next year. But it’s understood that Bayern is likely his first option going forward, and he could renew his contract.
However, nothing is written in stone and Barcelona will not give up early. Although one thing that does seem certain is that Kimmich will not leave in the winter transfer window.
It’s said he’s fully focused on his objectives with Bayern, with the main goal being winning the UEFA Champions League.
He last renewed his deal in 2021, and that is set to expire in 2025.
Barcelona want him to plug the whole left in midfield with the departure of Sergio Busquets last season.
