Sergi Barjuan has called up 22 players for Saturday’s match
The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana begin a new era as they welcome Deportivo Alavés to Camp Nou for a big La Liga game, and interim manager Sergi Barjuan has called up the following 22 players for Saturday’s match:
Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 13. Neto, 26. Iñaki Peña
Defenders: 2. Sergiño Dest, 3. Gerard Piqué, 15. Clément Lenglet, 18. Jordi Alba, 22. Óscar Mingueza, 23. Samuel Umtiti, 24. Eric García, 31. Alejandro Balde
Midfielders: 5. Sergio Busquets, 6. Riqui Puig, 11. Yusuf Demir, 14. Philippe Coutinho, 28. Nico González, 30. Gavi, 34. Álvaro Sanz
Forwards: 9. Memphis Depay, 17. Luuk De Jong, 19. Sergio Agüero, 33. Ez Abde
There are two new names on the list as Barjuan brings two young players with him from Barça B in midfielder Álvaro Sanz and winger Ez Abde. The two have been called up due to several injuries in the squad for this one, as Pedri (thigh), Ansu Fati (knee), Frenkie De Jong (hamstring), Ronald Araujo (hamstring) and Martin Braithwaite (knee) all miss out.
