The Inter striker is expected to replace Suarez at Barca
Lautaro Martinez will learn a lot from striker Luis Suarez if he makes the move to Barcelona in the summer, according to Hristo Stoichkov.
The Inter Milan attacker is being heavily linked with a Camp Nou switch, and Stoichkov has offered his thoughts on the potential transfer.
“Barcelona is a great team that demands a lot, like its fans. At Inter it is not easy to work with Conte. Barcelona has a lot to give, he will learn a lot. He has a teacher like Luis Suárez with whom he can work with his eyes closed,” he said.
“The question is not whether he can play or not, the important thing is to compete. He has to train, he has to get into this style of play. I spent eight years at Barcelona playing both left and right. Everyone is a substitute and a starter; it depends on how you train during the week.”
