The competition is set to resume in June
Former Barcelona president Joan Gaspart says he thinks La Liga would have been marked as complete had Real Madrid been on top. The current La Liga standings see Barcelona up by two points in the table.
“If Madrid had been the league leader before the suspension of football, La Liga would have ended.”

I think this just keeps pouring on the whole “La Liga loves Madrid and shrugs at Barca” sentiment that’s been going around. Granted, there’s history there. However, the last couple weeks between the referees loving Madrid to now Gaspart’s comments are all stirring up “us against the world” sentiment. Which, if that helps Barca fans, go for it.
