The club are demanding an improved performance
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has warned manager Lucien Favre the team need to produce an improved display against Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Dortmund went 3-0 down to Paderborn in the Bundesliga on Friday night, and although they recovered to draw 3-3 there is pressure on Favre going into Wednesday’s match.
“Obviously the topic will be discussed publicly because our situation is more than unsatisfactory,” he told
”Of course we will analyse that very intensively. But we are going to the match in Barcelona with Lucien Favre and we expect to see a significant increase in performance there.
”We need a performance. We finally need a good performance on the pitch so you can look forward.”

Dortmund are down in sixth place in the table and were also hammered 4-0 by Bayern Munich before the international break. Their form has been better in Europe where they are just a point behind Barca in Group F and in good shape to qualify.
