FC Barcelona can win La Liga tomorrow by earning at least one point against Deportivo La Coruña. It would have been possible for Barcelona to become champions before playing, had both Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid struggled to win this week. But with Real’s 2-1 win over Leganés, it won’t matter if Atléti lose as well. Regardless of Atlético’s outcome tomorrow, the only way for Barcelona to become champions is by earning at least a draw.
Should Barcelona lose, a few interesting, but remote scenarios exist for the Madrid clubs to still snatch the title away. But interestingly, should the Catalans get at least one point, the next match would be El Clásico. Zinedine Zidane has gone on record saying he will not give his rivals a guard of honor as is tradition, but even then, the non-event would be quite interesting to watch.
