After sustaining a left knee ligament tear that is likely to keep him out of football for two months, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is obviously still sad to be away from doing the thing he loves the most, but he's also ready to return.
The Blaugrana captain has already began his recovery period, and after a few sessions of physical therapy, Leo took to Facebook to give and update on his status, as well as to thank his fans for the support after the worrying images we saw on Saturday:
Thank you all for your supportive messages. For anyone who loves football, the hardest thing is not to be on the pitch. Now it's time to recover properly to come back. A big hug.
