Ahead of Sunday’s clash with Las Palmas, Mauricio Lemos has explained why he opted to turn down a move to Camp Nou last summer.
The midfielder has explained he did not feel he would be a regular at Barcelona and says the plan was for him to play for the B team which he was not keen on.
"I spoke about it with my family and decided not to go. I felt it was for the best," he said. "Many players go due to the name of the club, but what are they going for? If one day I move to a big club like that, my intention is to be a regular."
