Hope for Barcelona? Celta at full-strength for Real Madrid clash

Yes we might just be grasping at straws but at this stage we’ll take anything

Celta Vigo have named a full-strength squad for Wednesday’s crucial Liga clash with Real Madrid at Balaidos with Barcelona hoping the hosts can pull off an upset.

Los Blancos have the chance to pull clear at the top of La Liga if they avoid defeat and face a Celta side that have lost their last five league games on the bounce.

However, Celta have rotated their squad in recent weeks due to their Europa League commitments, but having gone out of the competition at the hands of Manchester United should revert to their strongest starting XI.

Barcelona lost a thriller at Balaidos earlier in the season while Celta have already tasted victory against Madrid this season, knocking them out of the Copa del Rey.

Zinedine Zidane, meanwhile, is expecting a tough game, particularly with so much riding on the outcome.

“The Celta team that will play in Vigo are going to come out as professionals, as they have to,” he told a pre-match press conference.

"It's difficult [for us] because they are a good team. It's important to think about your opponent, we always study them, but I'm interested in what we're going to do.

"It's very simple, we're ready and we have two finals to play before the league finishes."

Madrid also have to be careful on the disciplinary front with Ronaldo, Isco and Lucas Vazquez also running the risk of missing the final game of the season if they pick up a yellow card tomorrow night.

We’ll all be unashamedly supporting Celta tomorrow night but can they sink Madrid and turn the title back in Barcelona’s favour? Let us know your thoughts!
