Juve to move for Iniesta?
Could Andres Iniesta be about to follow in Dani Alves’ footsteps and make the move to Juventus? He just might according to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report claims that it has not escaped the Italian champions’ attention that his contract expires next summer and has not been renewed as yet.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men are ready to take advantage of any uncertainty and also hope Alves could help their attempts to bring Iniesta to Turin.
AC Milan target Aleix Vidal
Another man who could be swapping Spain for Italy is Aleix Vidal if AC Milan get their way, so say Sport.
Vidal is currently recovering from serious ankle injury and the club is yet to decide if he has a future at Camp Nou, indeed much may depend on who replaces Luis Enrique.
Milan could try to tempt him away although he will not come cheap, Vidal is contracted until 2020 and reportedly has a release clause of €60 million.
Betis want Marlon on loan
Marlon Santos had made a name for himself in the last couple of weeks in the Barcelona first team and has quickly gained himself some admirers.
Muchodeporte claim that Real Betis are keen on taking the youngster on loan next season although he may take some convincing having broken into the first-team already.
Valverde to take charge on July 1st
Ernesto Valverde will be unveiled as the club’s new coach on Monday and will officially take charge of the club on 1st July, so say Mundo Deportivo.
The 53-year-old will sign a two-year deal with an option for a third year and will bring Jon Aspiazu and Jose Antonio Pozanco with him.
Valverde will make his managerial debut with Barcelona against Juventus on July 22nd in the International Champions Cup.
